GREEN WEEK
At the beginning of summer, Mare Nostrum brings in the attention of tourists and local people sustainable behaviours towards the environment. Green Week is the first week of June during which Mare Nostrum organizes events related to environmental problems and sustainable consumption of resources and especially related to preserving the marine ecosystem.
From educational activities with schools (such as creating collages out of recycled materials, educational games, exhibitions and so on) and beach clean-ups organized with different companies preoccupied by the environment, to underwater clean-ups organized with volunteer divers, our message is the same: reducing marine litter on the Romanian seashore and in the Black Sea.
